EA and Omega Force have shared seven minutes of gameplay for Wild Hearts, an Asian action title that slots into the monster-hunting genre alongside Monster Hunter. The game is scheduled to release on February 17.
In the featured segment, a lone hunter faces a colossal warthog, then joins forces with partners for a coordinated takedown. The initial confrontation unfolds atop a rocky mountainside, but after a misstep, the beast escapes to a second arena, prompting a new strategy and renewed effort.
The video also highlights the tactical use of wooden structures crafted by players. These constructs serve dual purposes, aiding in combat and acting as mobility aids that help players traverse the world more efficiently.
This isn’t EA’s first major announcement this season. A gameplay trailer for the remake of Dead Space has already been shown, and rumors point to an upcoming reveal for a new Need for Speed entry. There are whispers that The Sims 5 could be announced later in the month, keeping fans and players on alert for new EA projects.
