Well-known insider Ice Universe has published the results of testing the latest Apple A16 processor on Geekbench, describing them as humiliatingly high for Qualcomm, which makes Snapdragon chips for Android smartphones. About informs iXBT version.

“The performance of the processor in multi-core mode is insane. Seeing them, Qualcomm should quietly go to the bathroom and cry there like an offended child,” Ice Universe wrote on Twitter.

According to the blogger, the Apple A16 scores 1,887 points in single-core mode and 5,455 points in multi-core mode. For comparison: The results of last year’s Apple A15 Bionic are 1740 and 4600 points, and the current Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 tops 1190 and 3455 points, respectively.

The Apple A16 processor was released on September 7 alongside the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. In some countries, new Apple products will be available on September 13.
