LG has unveiled the first foldable OLED Flex TV. It can be flat or bent – with a radius of curvature of 0.9 m. At the same time, it does not need to be bent by hand – the novelty is completely controlled from the remote control. To change the shape, it has built-in electric motors.

The TV is characterized by a diagonal of 42 inches with a resolution of 4K at a frame rate of 120 Hz. It uses an OLED matrix. There is an HDMI 2.1 port and there is also support for VRR, NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technologies.
Other features include a Multi View mode that allows you to display video from two sources simultaneously. There is also an LG Flex mode that allows you to play games on the console and watch videos at the same time. In this case, the broadcast from the smartphone is sent to the TV screen.
The cost of new items has not yet been mentioned. The TV will be featured at the IFA 2022 exhibition, which kicks off this week in Germany. And earlier Corsair showed a prototype of a gaming monitor that can be bent by hand. The film on BioShock is being shot by the director of The Hunger Games and I Am Legend
