Corsair partners with LG Display to develop the world’s first foldable monitor. We are talking about a prototype called XENEON FLEX, the production model is not ready yet.

The novelty is equipped with a 45-inch OLED panel with a resolution of up to 1440p and an aspect ratio of 21:9. For bending there are special handles on the sides and the maximum radius of curvature is 800R. In this case, the sides of the monitor can be bent separately – only left or right, but also both at the same time.

At maximum bending, the novelty clicks, but many test participants thought it was the crack of a crushing device. And to bend the prototype, you have to put in quite a bit of effort.

The company promised production models would be easier to bend. As for the number of flexion-extension cycles, we are talking about more than 10,000 times. That is, for 5 years, the shape of the display can be changed 5 times a day.

It is not yet known when and at what price such a monitor will be released. PC players can finally play the first Red Dead Redemption normally
