Modder romamash from Russia added the flags of the Russian Federation and several CIS countries to the PC version of the Spider-Man game, informs Portal GamesMail.Ru.
Enthusiast noted that he replaced the “boring” in-game flags with brighter European and Asian flags. At the same time, LGBT symbols, which were previously blocked from removal by another modder, were left untouched by romamash so as not to be blocked by the management of the Nexus Mods website.
Thus, using the SMPCTool tool, users can add to the game the flags of the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and even the fictional Daisy Valley, where the characters of the animated series Smeshariki live.
The highly acclaimed video game Spider-Man, which was released exclusively for PlayStation 4 in 2018, was also presented to Windows PC users in August this year. Soon, a change emerged for the project that replaced LGBT symbols in virtual New York with the US state flag.
The administration of the site where the mod was posted removed the decision, describing it as measures aimed at people who oppose inclusion and diversity. The modification from Russian is still untouched by the moderators of Nexus Mods.
