Video hosting YouTube has started deleting videos where Tesla owners show autopilot not dropping kids, informs Boundary. Earlier, activists of the Dawn project made accusations against the driver assistance system.

In early August, human rights activists said, using the example of child dummies, that the Tesla autopilot could not recognize them on the road. In particular, videos were shown of an electric car on autopilot knocking over a dummy about a meter high. Tesla owners, in turn, began checking statements, recording everything on camera. But the accusations were not confirmed – in any case, the electric car slowed down in front of the children or passed by them.

However, the media pointed out that it soon began removing such videos as YouTube violated its child safety policy and encouraged possible violence. As representatives of the video hosting noted, such recordings “threatening the emotional and physical well-being of minors.”

“Is Tesla on Autopilot Really Crushing Kids?” as corporate investor Ted Park noted. A video titled was also removed from YouTube. He showed with examples from his children that the Tesla autopilot can recognize a small child in the same way as an adult.
