Astra Group of Companies presented a mobile version of the Astra Linux Special Edition operating system at the Army-2022 International Military-Technical Forum, informs TASS.
It is noted that the mobile mode is distinguished by a new graphical interface adapted for touch screens, including a small diagonal, reduced power consumption and the presence of integrated local information security tools. The mobile operating system can also run unmodified Android apps and allows you to switch to and from desktop mode.
The system has already been certified according to information security requirements and is included in the registry of Russian software of the Ministry of Digital Development.
In mobile mode, Astra Linux Special Edition supports touch screen drivers, photo and video cameras, audio I / O devices, Wi-Wi, Bluetooth, NFC, 3G and 4G communications, GPS / GLONASS and others.
Separately, it is noted that users will be able to connect peripherals to their mobile devices based on the native operating system: mouse, keyboard, printer and other devices and work with it as on a computer.
