A rare 5W charger has come with Apple smartphones since the iPhone 3G. For the first time, the power supply was replaced on the iPhone 11 Pro – 18 W with USB-C support. With the release of the iPhone 12, the Cupertino company removed the charger from the kit.

It was noted that the 5W adapter has already been discontinued in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and China. With the help of this accessory, it was possible to charge the gadget, but for modern smartphones, charging will occur at a very low speed – more than three hours.

Previously Apple’s sold out All 5W power adapters in China. The device disappeared from the official online store of the American company. In China, 12W power supplies are still available for iPhone owners.
