As part of the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung introduced a new smartphone with a folding screen – Galaxy Z Flip 4. socialbites.ca learned about this from the broadcast of the demonstration on YouTube.
The smartphone with a horizontal fold line received a 6.7-inch main screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, support for HDR10 +, as well as a secondary screen with a diagonal of 1.9 inches and resolution. 260 x 512 pixels is located on the outside of the case. Despite the folding mechanism, the device received IPX8 protection against moisture and dust. The back of the device is covered with Gorilla Glass Victus+.
It is responsible for the performance of the latest Qualcomm 8-core processor – Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and 8 GB of RAM. Permanent memory will be 128, 256 or 512 GB, depending on the version. All this will be powered by a 3700 mAh battery charged with up to 25W fast charging.
The main camera consists of two 12-megapixel modules with wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses. The 10-megapixel lens is responsible for the front camera, which is located above the main screen.
The Galazy Z Flip 4 will be available on August 26 with prices starting at $999. It has not been reported whether the smartphone will be officially presented in Russia.
