Drawings of the new basic iPad have surfaced online. It was published portal MySmartPrice. According to the schematic images, the tablet will receive a vertical camera block in the style of the iPhone X.
The published images showed that the front of the 10th generation iPad will not be different from last year’s model. The gadget will receive the same wide bezels along the entire perimeter of the screen and a Touch ID fingerprint scanner combined with the Home button.
Judging by the images of the back panel, for the first time in the basic iPad lineup, an LED flash will appear, which will be located under the gadget’s camera. The camera block itself will look vaguely similar to the one on the iPhone X and Xs.
The next-generation iPad is also expected to have a slightly larger screen than its predecessor.
Numerous insiders have previously reported that Apple will equip the budget iPad with a USB Type-C connector, but the charging port is hidden by a red mark in the renders, so there’s still no evidence of leaks. All other design elements will remain unchanged.
It is assumed that the new iPad will be equipped with the Apple A14 chip, which is installed in the iPhone 12 line. The presentation of the tablet is expected in the fall of 2022.
