Apple has completed the launch of three M4 chipsets, including the high-end M4 Max that offers outstanding performance. However, according to the latest data, the company plans to introduce an even more powerful M4 Ultra chipset that will be equipped with 32 CPU cores and 80 GPU cores. With reference to Bloomberg on this subject reports WccfTech publication.
M4 Ultra is expected to offer high frame rates in AAA games thanks to its unified RAM architecture. This will allow game developers to access a larger VRAM window, which will improve the visuals and performance of their games.
According to the latest newsletter from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple plans to introduce the M4 Ultra next year alongside the updated Mac Pro. This could make the 2025 Mac Pro one of the most powerful mainstream systems on the market.
To successfully enter the gaming market, Apple is also working on the accessibility of its devices, offering a wider range of Mac computers and other products at more attractive prices. However, according to WccfTech, in order for the company to be fully successful, it needs to convince more developers to transfer their games to the platform.
