World’s lightest laptop unveiled in Japan

Japanese company Fujitsu has announced the Lifebook WU-X / G2 laptop with a 13.3-inch Full HD display, weighing only 634 grams, informs Aroged portal. According to the manufacturer, this is the lightest laptop in the world.

The laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5-1235U or i7-1255U processor and Intel Iris Xe acts as a graphics processor.

The Fujitsu Lifebook’s RAM can be up to 32GB and the internal storage can be increased from 256GB to 2TB. It also claims the presence of Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 wireless modules, an SD card slot, and a webcam with a shutter to protect users.

The laptop received a carbon fiber body. Fujitsu Lifebook has two USB3.2 Gen2 Type-C interfaces with Thunderbolt 4 support, a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, a network port, HDMI and a headphone jack. Power is provided by a 25 Wh battery. The laptop uses Windows 11 as its operating system.

The cost of the base model Fujitsu Lifebook WU-X/G2 starts at $ 1.3 thousand (about 82.4 thousand rubles).
