In the fall of 2022, Apple will introduce a new model of the Apple Watch smartwatch, the design of which will be changed for the first time since 2018. About informs Bloomberg insider and journalist Mark Gurman.
We are talking about the older model Apple Watch Series 8 Pro, whose screen, according to Gurman, will increase by 7%. As for its shape, it will remain rectangular with rounded edges, but will be “reconsidered” by the manufacturer. An insider denied the information regarding the flat faces of the watch, but said that the material of the device will be replaced with a new titanium compound that will provide even more strength.
As for the new features, Gurman is confident that the temperature sensor will be added to the Apple Watch this year, but the blood pressure measurement integrated into the device will have to wait until 2025. Glucometer, according to the expert, but by the end of this decade will appear on the watches.
The launch date of the new Apple Watch model has not been announced yet, but Apple traditionally announces new gadgets in September-October.
