Android Headlines portal It was published Photo of the new foldable smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition (SE), which will be an updated version of the Z Fold6 with a slim body.

Judging by the images, the new product will have a design similar to the Galaxy Z Fold6 with subtle changes. The important thing is a thinner body that is said to be 4.9mm thick when folded and 10.6mm when folded.

The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will have a flat frame with slightly rounded corners, and the cameras will fit inside a rectangular block that appears thicker than the block on the Z Fold6.

The back panel of the device has a brushed metal design, which is unlikely – most likely it is glass with the corresponding coating. The power button will be combined with a fingerprint scanner, as expected, and the volume rocker will be located higher on the right side, which is traditional for Samsung devices.

Rumors suggest the new product will feature a 200-megapixel main camera, a 6.5-inch external display, and an 8-inch foldable display. According to insiders, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will only be introduced in South Korea and China, where the device will be called the Samsung W25.

The slim version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 should be available before the end of 2024.
