Acer has introduced the Nitro XV240 F6 monitor with a record 600Hz refresh rate at IFA 2024 in Berlin. reported on the manufacturer’s website.
The Nitro XV240 F6 features a 24-inch TN panel with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, operating at up to 240 Hz when connected via HDMI, and up to 600 Hz when using the DisplayPort 1.4 connector. The monitor has a response time of 1 ms GtG, with the ability to drop to 0.1 ms for faster frame rates. The new product supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology and has a maximum brightness of 400 nits.
Among its other features, the monitor supports 8-bit color depth, 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 170 and 160 degrees respectively.
However, details regarding the panel with a frequency of 600 Hz were not disclosed. As stated IXBTThere is currently no word on whether panels with this frequency will be released. Acer is believed to be using a 500Hz panel overclocked to 600Hz.
The monitor is also equipped with two built-in speakers with 2W power each, and the stand is highly adjustable.
