The judge of the Tagansky district of Moscow fined Google 5 million rubles for non-compliance with the instructions of Roskomnadzor. In this regard reports RIA News.

Google LLC was found guilty of an administrative offense under Part 4 of Article 19.7.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The company was imposed an administrative fine in the amount of 5 million rubles.

Previously, the court repeatedly imposed fines on Google for violations identified by Roskomnadzor. Thus, Google became the first company subject to a turnover fine of 7.2 billion rubles under Part 5 of Article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation by the end of 2021. Later, the company received two more turnover fines: 21.7 billion rubles. for failure to remove fake news about the actions of the Russian military and 4.6 billion rubles. for repeatedly refusing to remove fake content from YouTube.

Roskomnadzor previously stated that numerous violations of the law, disrespect for Russia and its citizens were grounds for taking action against YouTube. It is known that this year alone YouTube blocked 80 out of 200 Russian channels. In July, Roskomnadzor sent a request to the Google headquarters to unblock these channels, but the American company did not respond to the request.
