Xiaomi has announced its Mix Flip foldable smartphone. According to the portal, this is the company’s first smartphone with a vertical clamshell form factor. Badged.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip is equipped with two displays: a 6.86-inch flexible OLED main display with a resolution of 1.5K, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a brightness of up to 3000 nits. On the back of the upper half of the smartphone is an external 4.01-inch OLED display with the same performance, with two cutouts for the cameras.
Responsible for the performance of the new product is the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, complemented by 12 or 16 GB of RAM or 256, 512 GB or 1 TB of internal storage.
The 50-megapixel main camera embedded in the external screen is complemented by a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and the selfie camera has a resolution of 32 megapixels. It is stated that the cameras were configured in conjunction with Leica.
The 4,780 mAh battery supports 67W fast charging. Among the other features of the Xiaomi Mix Flip, it is stated that it has water protection according to the IPX8 standard.
