Russian studio Battlestate Games has started selling the PVE ZONE expansion for Escape from Tarkov, which provides access to a cooperative PvE mode. reported on the official website of the developers.

The expansion costs 700 rubles. Previously, only owners of the maximum versions of Escape from Tarkov – The Unheard Edition and Edge of Darkness Limited Edition had access to the PvE mode.

In PvE mode, players only fight against NPC enemies. Also, an important feature of the mode is that there is no reset of progress or attacks from other players. PvE mode supports both single-player and cooperative play with friends.

It is also stated that with the release of patch 0.14.9.5, single-player raids will now take place locally and will retain the same mechanics as in online mode.

Escape from Tarkov is a popular multiplayer tactical first-person shooter with RPG and MMO elements, developed and published by the Russian company Battlestate Games. The game has been in closed beta testing since 2017 and has not yet received a final build.
