The foldable smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, introduced on July 10, will have an improved version that will be released in the fall. This model, with the Slim or Ultra prefix, will be sold only in two countries, Portal reported 9to5Google Citing authoritative insider Max Jambor.
Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim or Z Fold6 Ultra suggest that the new product will offer a larger screen and a thinner body. Some sources also report that this model will have improved cameras. According to Jambor, Samsung is planning to launch an improved foldable smartphone in October, which is rumored to be at a launch event that will feature the Galaxy Tab S10 series of tablets and an alternative to Apple’s mixed reality headset.
However, the new Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim will only be available in South Korea and China. The reasons for this decision are not yet known.
According to journalists, the choice of only two countries for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim is due to the fact that the company does not have a serious competitor in the folding device market in the US and the global market. At the same time, in China, Samsung is losing competition from Honor, Oppo and Huawei, whose devices offer better features compared to the current Samsung model Galaxy Z Fold6.
