Honor introduces one of the lightest metal laptops with OLED display

Honor has announced the MagicBook Art 14 laptop, which has compact dimensions, thin bezels, an OLED display and a powerful processor. The portal reports this GizmoChina.

With a thickness of only 1 centimeter and a weight of 1 kilogram, the MagicBook Art 14 has a metal body, a 14.6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3120×2080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 coverage. color space and up to 700 nits brightness and 4320Hz PWM frequency.

Due to the minimal thickness of the frames (2.2 mm), the laptop does not have a built-in webcam. Instead, Honor offers a removable module that is attached to the upper part of the lid using magnets and special connectors. The module is stored in a special compartment on the right side of the case.

The performance of the Honor MagicBook Art 14 is provided by modern Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 processors, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB M. 2 SSD. The autonomy of the device is provided by a 60 Wh battery, which, according to the manufacturer, allows it to work for up to 9.5 hours.

The laptop is equipped with a large 129×94.5mm touchpad covered in durable glass and supporting pressure sensing. Connectors include one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, two USB 3.2 Type-C (Thunderbolt 4), HDMI 2.1, and one 3.5mm combo audio port.

MagicBook Art 14 will be sold in China at prices ranging from 8 to 9.5 thousand yuan (about 96 to 114 thousand rubles). The availability of the laptop in Russia has not yet been announced.
