Google has launched a service called Google Vids, designed to create videos using neural networks. reports Android Headlines portal.
It’s worth noting that Google Vids isn’t currently available to the public; the service has only been launched in test mode for those who have joined the Workspace Labs program so far.
Google Vids can create videos based on text queries. Neural network users will receive a basic storyboard that can be customized, edits made, a specific style chosen for the video, and background music added. It is also possible to integrate documents and files from Google Drive, and you can add your own voice to the video or use one created using artificial intelligence.
Experts note that Google Vids lacks the creativity of rival video creators like Sora or Kling.
By the end of 2024, Google Vids is expected to be included in the company’s suite of paid services based on proprietary AI – Gemini for Workspace. It was not stated whether the new product will work in Russia.
