Microsoft has stopped distribution of Windows 11 update KB5039302, which was found to be responsible for an unfixable bug that rendered computers unusable. In this respect reports Neowin edition.
According to the company, the update released on June 26, 2024 may cause endless reboots on some systems. The issue affects computers running Windows 11 client versions 22H2 and 23H2.
There is no solution or solution to the problem yet. Microsoft recommends users avoid update KB5039302. The company also suspended distribution to prevent further spread of the serious bug.
As Microsoft explains, the failure is most likely to occur if a person uses virtual machines and nested virtualization with software such as CloudPC, DevBox, or Azure Virtual Desktop. But even some Windows 11 Home users are reporting the error.
Microsoft is currently working on a fix and recommends users wait for the next update.
