Players of the mobile game Hamster Kombat in Uzbekistan may face up to 15 days of detention for withdrawing cryptocurrency. In this respect reports Telegram channel Özbek-MDK with a link to local television.
According to the source, Uzbek authorities warned Hamster Kombat players about the administrative liability of exchanging virtual currencies for cryptocurrencies and real money. In addition to imprisonment, players may also face fines of up to 10.2 million soums (about 71.2 thousand rubles).
In early June, Uzbek authorities punished a student for selling NOT cryptocurrency and found him guilty of illegal cryptocurrency trading. The court sentenced him to 10 days of administrative detention and ordered the destruction of the Samsung Galaxy A30 smartphone and bank card used in the transaction. The young man earned $63 (about 5.5 thousand rubles) by selling cryptocurrency.
