Thus, 41% of users described “Stories” as the worst innovation. The top three most disliked features include the voting (upgrade) system in channels (36%) and the impossibility of navigating to a message while replying (33%).
The list of most disliked Telegram features also included unclickable media files in link previews (30%), the ability to set wallpaper in channels (16%), and personalized user colors (11%). The last two places are the hidden “Stories” viewing mode (8%) and the ability to set the wallpaper in chats (7%).
In 2023, Telegram added many features to the messaging app, including the introduction of paid Premium subscription. It expands users’ functionality by offering unlimited speed for downloading and uploading files. Rumor has it that in the near future users of the free version of Telegram will get restrictions according to this parameter.
