Thus, a special PS5 Pro Enhanced status icon will be introduced for games optimized for the enhanced PS5 Pro. To qualify, games must meet at least one of these criteria: offer improved resolution, increased frame rates, or advanced ray tracing effects only available on PS5 Pro.
Using PSSR technology, Sony plans to implement upscaling to 4K resolution in PlayStation 5 Pro games, support for stable 60 frames per second, and improved ray tracing compared to the base model of the console. Improvements will be achieved thanks to 28% faster RAM and a graphics chip with 45% more power. However, thanks to these improvements, the new product will be 45% faster than the standard PlayStation 5. In addition, the developed console will be able to offer twice as fast graphics processing.
