Anbernic introduced the 2024 RG35XX portable console with a compact body and retro design. Video of testing and unpacking the device is already available seen on the brand’s YouTube channel.
The new version of the RG35XX has received a number of significant improvements while retaining the design of its predecessors. The Allwinner H700 chip and 1 GB LPDDR4 RAM are responsible for the performance of the new product. This will be enough to run games on consoles such as SEGA Dreamcast, PlayStation 1 and PlayStation Portable. In total, emulation of more than 30 platforms was announced. The 2023 model had the PowerVR SGX544MP chip and only 256 MB of RAM.
The device has a design reminiscent of the Nintendo Game Boy, a compact body measuring 117x81x22 mm and weighing only 186 grams, and a 3.5-inch IPS display with 640×480 resolution. Due to its small size, the console has a small battery with a capacity of only 2600 mAh, which, according to the manufacturer, is enough for 7 hours of gaming.
Anbernic RG35XX 2024 went on sale at a price of $ 50 (about 4.6 thousand rubles) for the version with 64 GB of internal memory. The console is available in four colors with a transparent body: grey, black, white and purple.
