According to new inside information, Samsung will introduce three versions of Galaxy Watch 7 in 2024. Rumors also suggest that Samsung will change the model numbering scheme for the new series. The cheapest version will be numbered SM-L300 and SM-L305, while the mid-range version will be numbered SM-L310 and SM-L315. The most expensive version of the Galaxy Watch 7 will be called SM-L700 and SM-L705. Versions ending in 5 will have cellular connectivity using the eSIM module.
It is also said that Samsung will double the internal storage of the Galaxy Watch 7 to 32 GB from 16 GB in previous models. Increasing storage capacity will benefit users by allowing them to download more apps, watch faces, and music for offline playback.
The Galaxy Watch 7 series is also expected to come with Wear OS 5 based on Android 14. Samsung’s new smart watch is expected to be introduced at the next Galaxy Unpacked presentation in July 2024, along with the Galaxy Z Flip and Fold 6, Galaxy Buds 3. and Galaxy Ring.
