Famous German astrophotographer Sebastian Voltmer photographed an unidentified flying object (UFO) above the surface of the satellite during the last photo of the Moon and could not offer any logical version about the origin of the mysterious artifact in the image. In this respect reports Daily Star edition.
According to Voltmer, the UFO flew quickly in front of the lens and at the same time emitted a bright glow. The mysterious object is hardly visible in the picture because it is moving at high speed. Despite this, the image clearly reveals that the UFO is triangular, cone or pyramid shaped.
Initially, Voltmer suggested that there was a satellite or the ISS in his photo. This version was later rejected because both do not usually pass by the Moon this quickly.
A version of a meteor was also put forward, but this was also rejected because the object did not have a characteristic feature – the so-called tail. This version is also questioned by the speed of movement of the UFO. Additionally, the International Meteor Organization has no records of any shooting stars during the filming of Voltmer.
“Voltmer also rules out the presence of flies or dust near the lens and believes that the object must be more than 500 meters away when looking into focus. To be more precise, the photographer believes that the UFO passed by the Earth at an altitude of 100 to 200 km,” writes the Daily Star.
Most likely the astrophotographer captured some sort of space debris in his lens. But this version is confused by the absence of other reports from observers of the night sky.
