According to the bill, it is assumed that customers will have the legal opportunity to hire experts who investigate vulnerabilities in software on Bug Bounty. Deputy Anton Nemkin, one of the authors of the bill, explained that many large Russian companies in the IT sector have long been actively using the services of “white” hackers, including Yandex, Ozon, VK and Tinkoff.
However, currently the activities of such experts are not fully regulated by law, and this leaves legal gaps.
