South Korean company Samsung announced the upcoming update of its proprietary One UI 6.1 shell with integrated Galaxy AI artificial intelligence functions for nine smartphone models by the end of March 2024. In this respect reports GizmoChina portal.

The update will affect both recently released flagships and existing tablet models, including the Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE, Galaxy Z Flip5, Z Fold5, and the Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra tablets.

Among the most important innovations is the integrated artificial intelligence Galaxy AI. With this update, owners of the above-mentioned devices will get access to Google’s Circle to Search feature, generative AI for photo editing, Live Translate for instant call transfer, and Note Assist, a smart assistant for working with notes.

It is not stated which other devices will be updated to One UI 6.1 and receive Galaxy AI support in the near future.

Galaxy AI was launched on Samsung Galaxy S24 series smartphones in January 2024. Most of the functions of this AI service work in Russia. The exception is Live Translation, which does not yet support translation from and to Russian.

Previously Samsung promised to improve People’s sleep quality using smart rings.
