Microsoft announced the addition of the GPT-4 Turbo language model to ChatGPT, a free chatbot available with a paid subscription. In this respect reports Windows Central portal.

Until recently, GPT-4 Turbo was an exclusive feature for ChatGPT and Copilot Pro subscribers. Microsoft’s head of advertising and web services, Mikhail Parakhin, stated that the addition of a more advanced artificial intelligence model to the free version of Copilot was the result of significant teamwork. He also added that Copilot Pro users who want to stay on the previous version of GPT-4 can switch to this version using a special passkey.

OpenAI first introduced GPT-4 Turbo last year. This model received an updated database until April 2023. GTP-4 Turbo allows you to process requests for up to 128k tokens, which is equivalent to approximately 300 pages of text. Last December, Microsoft included GPT-4 Turbo in its Copilot Pro suite.

On March 21, Microsoft will hold a special presentation where the company will present new features for Copilot.

Formerly Minister Shadayev statedthat foreign AI services are not blocked in Russia.
