Minimal Phone smartphone with E Ink screen and physical QWERTY keyboard is available for sale on Indiegogo. The device differs from most modern smartphones in that it uses an electronic ink panel instead of a regular display. reports Portal Rozetked.
The Minimal Phone has a 3.5-inch E Ink display with a resolution of 640×480 pixels. The performance of the new product is provided by the MediaTek MT6769 chip with a frequency of 2 GHz and the Mali-G52 MP2 graphics accelerator. The amount of RAM is 4 GB and internal memory is 128 GB. The gadget has two cameras – one on the back with a resolution of 16 megapixels and the front with a resolution of 8 megapixels.
One of the advantages of Minimal Phone is autonomy. Thanks to its economical screen and 4000 mAh battery, the smartphone can have a talk time of up to 4 days or 10 hours in standby mode. The Minimal Phone supports 18W fast charging via cable and 20W with Qi wireless protocol.
The device runs Android 13. Minimal Phone is currently available for pre-order only on the Indiegogo platform and is sold at a price starting from $ 350 (about 31.9 thousand rubles). First deliveries are planned for June 2024.
