GPD announced a new version of the Win Mini portable console for 2024 with improved specifications and AMD Ryzen 8000 processors. reports Videocardz portal.
Win Mini 2024 will be available in two models: 6-core Ryzen 5 8640U processor and 8-core Ryzen 7 8840U processor. Graphics are provided by Radeon 760M and Radeon 780M graphics cores respectively, which provide high performance in games and other applications. According to GPD, the older model with LPDDR5-6400 memory will surpass the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti in terms of computing power. The console will be available in versions with 16 to 64 GB of RAM.
The console has a 7-inch IPS screen with Full HD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness. Additionally, the screen supports Adaptive VRR Sync and FreeSync Premium technology for smooth images without lag or frame tearing. The screen is protected by tempered Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
The price of the basic version of GPD Win Mini 2024 with the Ryzen 7 8840U processor will be $ 880 (about 80.3 thousand rubles).
