Microsoft has expanded the list of processors supported by the Windows 11 operating system to include almost 40 new models from Intel. You can view the detailed list Online companies.

The new compatibility list covers 14th generation Intel Core processors and new mobile Core Ultra processors. Added models include the latest Intel Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, Core i9, Core 3, Core Ultra 5, and Core Ultra 7 CPUs.

The official list of currently supported Windows 11 processors includes 903 models from Intel, 304 models from AMD, and 15 single-chip systems from Qualcomm.

The absence of a processor in the compatibility list does not mean that the user cannot install Windows 11 on his computer, but the safe and stable operation of the operating system on such devices is not guaranteed.

Additionally, Microsoft plans to tighten the requirements and prohibit bypassing hardware requirements to install Windows 11 on incompatible computers. To do this, the company will add support for the POPCNT instruction, which counts the number of unit bits in a number, to the requirements. On older processors, such a system is not supported, so without this instruction the operating system will not be able to boot on the computer.
