The Chinese company BlackView presented its most budget folding phone to date – the Hero 10 smartphone. reports GizmoChina portal.
The new product has a 6.9-inch foldable screen with a resolution of 2790×1188 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The cover of the device also has an additional round display with a frequency of 60 Hz.
The performance of BlackView Hero 10 is due to the budget MediaTek Helio G99 chip, which can be found in smartphones costing 15-20 thousand rubles. Additionally, 12 GB RAM and 256 GB permanent memory are also stated. The main 108-megapixel camera is complemented by an unknown sensor, and the selfie camera is represented by a sensor with a resolution of 32 megapixels.
The smartphone will be available in various colors with an eco-leather body. The device runs on Android 13 operating system with DokeOS 3.1 shell pre-installed. Despite the fairly large screen, BlackView has only packed a battery into the smartphone with a modest capacity of 2630 mAh.
The price of BlackView Hero 10 was only € 399 (about 39.3 thousand rubles); This is by far the lowest starting price for a folding phone. However, the smartphone is equipped with rather weak hardware, which the manufacturer managed to save on.
