A YouTuber known as ZONEofTECH posted a cryptic image of a handheld console on Twitter, writing “Stay tuned.”
The display of the console shows the PS Store logo, so many have assumed that we are talking about a portable gaming system from Sony. Of course, the image is most likely just a representation. However, ZONEofTECH had previously demonstrated devkits for the PlayStation 5, which were subsequently confirmed. So maybe the company is really preparing a modern version of the PSP.
In 2021, there were rumors that Sony might be working on a new “portable” that could run PS5 games. To do this, it will have support for 5G networks and streaming functions, as well as launch games in the cloud.
