The first smartphone to be released under the new concept in Russia will be realme C67, and its official sales started today, February 13. Let’s see what realme offers this time.
Realme’s C series is one of the most popular both in the world and in Russia. In other words, today the sales of realme C devices in the world exceed 100 million and 6.3 million of them are in our country. This is not surprising, because despite the very affordable price, devices in this series are distinguished by both high performance and nice design. But this time it looks like there will be even more new products and benefits. And most importantly, many of them will be used for the first time for this popular series.
Physical appereance
Let’s start with clothing. In Russia, the smartphone will be offered in two colors: “Green Oasis” and “Black Stone”. Both solutions are unusual and attractive; The back panel, which shimmers and shimmers under different lighting angles, looks unusual and expensive. It is comfortable and pleasant to hold in your hand, even without the silicone transparent case included in the package, in the good tradition of the company.
It is worth noting that the C67 is currently the thinnest representative of the segment on the market. The thickness of the case is only 7.59 millimeters. And here is the most important feature of realme C67. For the first time in the C series, a 108-megapixel camera with 3x intra-sensor zoom is installed. The head camera is based on a 1/1.67 inch Samsung S5KHM6 sensor with 108 MP resolution, 0.64 micron pixel size, ISOCELL 2.0 technology and Nonacell Bayer RGB color filters. As a rule, such cameras are the prerogative of premium smartphones, and intra-sensor zoom is not always found on them.

Since Snapdragon 685 is produced using 6 nm process technology, another advantage is increased energy efficiency and, accordingly, increased battery life. With a 5000 mAh battery and 33 watt SUPERVOOC high-speed charging support, you don’t have to worry about being left without a working device when you need it most. It is also worth noting that the C67 practically does not heat up even when fully loaded, for example, when watching videos or playing games, which indicates:

Now about memory. In Russia, C67 will be offered in two configurations: 8/256 GB and 6/128 GB respectively. Once upon a time, realme developed DRE technology, which converts the memory in the drive into virtual RAM to expand RAM. So realme C67 can expand the 8GB RAM by another 8GB to enjoy 16GB RAM (DRE technology for the 6GB version will allow the memory to be increased to 12GB). This volume is more than enough

Well, another important point that the audience will appreciate is the use of dust and splash protection according to the IP54 standard, and again, such a solution will be used for the first time in C series devices. Yes, this won’t let you dive into the pool with your smartphone, but there’s no danger of the device breaking if you get caught in the rain or place it next to the sink. This is quite important for people who lead an active lifestyle in a large metropolis.

Screen and software
And again, a pleasant surprise, realme C67 got a 6.72-inch screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate. In principle, everything is standard for this segment, although there is not one BUT. The highest brightness of the screen is 905 nits, which is a very serious figure. That is, even in bright sunlight the picture is perfectly visible and there is no need to look for shade to read an important message or watch the news. And if you want to watch a new video of your favorite video blogger before going to bed in the evening, you need to reduce the brightness, as you will get the feeling that a bright flashlight is shining on your face.

The smartphone runs Android 14 with the proprietary realme UI shell. Realme’s branded “mini capsule” has finally received the 2.0 digital name. This fundamentally affected its functionality.
Now the mini-capsule has added convenient control of the music player, in addition to the functions of reminding and displaying useful information. When music is played, an animation will start showing a short musical rhythm bar, and the color of the rhythm bar will change randomly depending on the music change.
If you click on the small capsule, it will expand into a long capsule to display additional information about the song (title and duration) and control the player. Realme has managed to pleasantly surprise once again. It is possible that the C67 will become a new champion in its segment that will endure and gain great popularity. The number of features typically used in the premium segment is frankly staggering.
First of all, it is clear that the device is designed for young people who, in addition to functionality, need an unusual appearance and tools for self-expression and enjoyment of life. And the fact that you will not have to pay much for all this will be another important factor.
