Sony announced the start of beta testing of new firmware for PlayStation 5 that will significantly improve the performance of the DualSense controller. In this respect reports DTF printing. Enthusiasts from the USA, Canada, Japan, England, Germany and France have already gained access to the new software.

According to the description of the changes provided by Sony on its official website, the firmware improves the performance of the speaker and microphone built into the gamepad. This makes the sound louder and the noise reduction system more effective. In the latter case, this means that the microphone now filters out background sounds such as key clicks. Sony was able to achieve this development using artificial intelligence.

Some improvements have also been made to the PlayStation 5 itself, for example, the ability to adjust the volume of the DualSense speaker appeared in the settings. Users can now also adjust the brightness of the power indicator on the set-top box (set to maximum by default). Improved viewer engagement with broadcasts initiated using SharePlay.

The exact release date of the software update for PlayStation 5 has not been announced. However, this is expected to happen in the coming months.
