Microsoft is considering releasing a series of exclusive Xbox video games on rival PlayStation consoles. On this subject with reference to sources reports The Verge’s edition.
According to The Verge, Microsoft is currently only tracking the multiplatform launch of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The game is expected to be released in 2024. The PlayStation 5 version is expected to appear a few months after its release on PC, as well as Xbox Series X and S. So most likely the Indiana Jones game will be released on PlayStation 5 in 2025.
The Verge also noted that Microsoft wants to release its games on Nintendo consoles. The first game that the American company will transfer to rival platforms will be Hi-Fi RUSH, which will be released on Xbox in 2023.
Microsoft has yet to decide on the final list of Xbox exclusive games that will begin streaming on Sony and Nintendo consoles. But according to data portal Xbox Era, the aforementioned Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Hi-Fi RUSH will likely be joined by last year’s space exploration simulator Starfield.
