Bard, Google’s artificial intelligence (AI)-based chatbot, will appear in the Google Messages messaging app. This was reported by oppression 9to5Google.
As journalists learned, the Bard feature was already included in the latest beta version of Google Messages. Bard can be searched using the New Speech option. It looks like a separate chat with the Bard logo instead of the real person’s name.
In Google Messages, Bard will be able to compose text, describe images, recommend books by genre, search for recipes by a list of available ingredients, and perform other tasks, some of which are presented in the form of recommendations.
“Create a challenging word puzzle with an answer: sunset. Known for your clever word games and challenging puzzles, you are a talented riddle-maker with a knack for creating clever and challenging riddles. Be creative, make your puzzle harder to solve. Add clues to help the user guess,” says one of Bard’s recommendations.
Content created with Bard can be copied or forwarded to people in your contacts in Google Messages.
Google representatives warned that conversations with Bard will not be protected by end-to-end encryption, so conversations with AI can and will be read by specially trained reviewers to improve the service.
“When using Bard, don’t enter anything you don’t want reviewers to see or Google to use. Verified data is disconnected from your account and stored for up to three years, Google said.
