It turns out that the issue of cyberbullying is the most pressing issue for Russian teenagers in the context of digital security. The Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment told socialbites.ca about this, based on analysis of queries in the Yandex search engine.
Analysis of Yandex data showed that the most popular questions were about cyberbullying (33%), Internet addiction (25%), gambling addiction (21%) and Internet fraud (11%). The remaining 10% came from other subjects
“We found that around 30% of young people do not have the knowledge of how to respond to digital challenges and protect themselves online,” said Elizaveta Belyakova, president of the Alliance to Protect Children in the Digital Environment.
The information received allowed the Alliance to Protect Children Digitally to create a knowledge base about digital threats to young people, called “CIFRAtheque”. It is offered free of charge to everyone as a web service. In addition to identifying the problems themselves, the portal also contains advice from information security experts on ways to solve them.
Former employees of Russian companies warned It’s about a new type of fraud on the part of the FSB.
