For the first time, streaming service Netflix has released detailed data on the views of thousands of shows and movies. The information disclosed covered the first half of 2023. The report was published in the official gazette Web site companies.
According to the data presented, from January to June, the service’s viewers spent a total of approximately 100 billion hours watching movies and series on Netflix, or almost 11.5 million years.
The rating included 18 thousand titles, each of which was watched by users for more than 50 thousand hours.
The leader of those watched on the platform during the specified period was the action-packed series “Night Agent”, which was watched for more than 812 million hours worldwide. Famous shows like Wednesday, You and The Bridgertons were also popular.
The company stated that non-English TV series and movies are in demand on the platform; these accounted for approximately 30% of all content viewed over six months; Korean and Spanish TV series are among these.
Netflix has promised to continue releasing similar reviews twice a year.
Netflix had previously announced release Grand Theft Auto video game trilogy on smartphones.
