Samsung is actively preparing to release One UI 6.1 firmware, which will include new features based on artificial intelligence. Screenshots confirming some functions have already been leaked online, the portal reported. Android Authority.
The first thing journalists noticed was the possibility of creating wallpaper using neural networks. A similar feature was previously introduced for Google Pixel 8 series smartphones, so users will be able to set parameters for wallpaper creation by entering text queries, and then artificial intelligence will create an image according to the set preferences.
Samsung smartphones will also feature an advanced photo editor with artificial intelligence functions. Users will be able to move objects from one image to another or “extend” the boundaries of the photo.
Notes application will have a feature that can summarize long text entries. At the same time, the smartphones will also feature real-time voice call translation, improved voice quality and optimized battery charging.
It was noted that the beta test of One UI 6.1 is currently being conducted for the Samsung Galaxy S23. These devices and the new Galaxy S24 will be among the first devices to receive the new firmware version in early 2024.
