Google plans to add the Compose function to the Chrome browser, which creates text at the user’s request using artificial intelligence. This is indicated by code changes in the Chromium Gerrit tracker, the portal reports 9to5mac.

The compose feature will help users create text content for a variety of purposes, including social media posts and emails. The innovation will allow users to get help when typing text through an interactive pop-up autocomplete window activated in text fields of web forms.

Moreover, AI will be able to analyze the content of a website page to more accurately understand the context of the user’s task. The proposed technology will be able to offer the user a choice of various presentation styles, as well as the ability to reformulate or shorten existing text.

Similar functionality has already been implemented in services such as Gmail, Google Keep and Messages. There this function is known as Smart Write.

Previously presented Artificial intelligence “smart” belt with GPS function for the visually impaired.
