Microsoft has released an update for Windows 10 in which the Copilot neural network assistant has started working. The portal reports this Windows Latest.

The most important innovation in the KB5032278 update was the appearance of the Copilot AI assistant, which previously appeared in Windows 11. This is a chatbot that replicates the functionality of Bing AI based on the GPT-4 language model. Moreover, unlike the original, the assistant built into Windows works for free and has additional features.

Optional update KB5032278 is now available for download from Windows Update on computers running Windows 10 22H2. Moreover, as the source states, the update must be downloaded manually.

After the update, a Copilot icon with the prefix “Front” meaning “Front Access” will appear in users’ taskbar. At the same time, it will not be possible to use the neural network from a Russian IP address.

Copilot was first introduced in March 2023 as an AI assistant built into Microsoft services.
