Call of Duty accounts of Nvidia GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform users are being banned due to an unknown glitch. The portal reports this Without Video Card.
The reason why player accounts were blocked was because the anti-cheat system in the games recognized the cloud service as a form of fraud.
Nvidia GeForce NOW is a cloud service that allows you to play games that the user has already purchased on other platforms on different devices. Nvidia previously announced that it added 65 new games to the GeForce NOW library, including several Call of Duty games. Despite the service’s official support, launching Call of Duty games on the Nvidia cloud service may result in the player’s account being blocked.
Activision Blizzard withdrew all its games from the GeForce NOW platform in 2020 due to a licensing dispute with Nvidia. Since then, it has been trying to rebuild its game catalog by regularly adding new games. Nvidia recently announced that Microsoft’s PC Game Pass games will be available on GeForce NOW.
