The Microsoft Copilot assistant integrated into Windows 11 will update its language model to GPT-4 Turbo. In this respect reports Sammobile portal with link to Mikhail Parakhin, General Manager of Microsoft Advertising and Web Services.
According to Parakhin, they need to eliminate a number of technical difficulties before releasing the new version of Copilot. However, the exact dates for the transition to GPT-4 Turbo have not been announced yet.
GPT-4 Turbo is OpenAI’s most advanced and powerful language model. It has numerous advantages over GPT-4, such as an increased context window of up to 128k tokens, allowing you to create longer and more coherent texts.
Additionally, GPT-4 Turbo is trained with the most up-to-date data collected through April 2023, increasing its accuracy and relevance. It is suggested that the content window for Copilot can be shortened in order to optimize the speed and efficiency of the assistant.
In the fall, the AI assistant Copilot became available to Windows 11 users, whose icon was placed on the taskbar. The function is not available from a Russian IP address.
