However, in this case, the reason is the disabling of Pixel Shift technology, which prevents “image retention” from occurring on AMOLED screens. This technology shifts the image in small increments to evenly distribute the pixel load and extend the life of the screen.

Users found that Pixel Shift worked fine in One UI 5.0, while it was disabled in One UI 6.0. This was confirmed by a test.

Samsung has not yet made a statement on this issue. Apparently you can’t enable the Pixel Shift function yourself. The flaw is expected to be fixed in the next One UI update.
