The latest flagship iPhones are not charging properly in some General Motors vehicles. In this respect reports MacRumors post citing user complaints on Reddit forum and Apple website.

Some Chevrolet, Cadillac and Buick vehicles with built-in wireless chargers cannot charge the new iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. People write that the smartphone charges in a few seconds, but the power supply stops. There are also reports of complete incompatibility.

As MacRumors points out, most of the complaints are coming from iPhone 15 Pro and Pro‌ Max users running iOS 17.1, and this may be the cause of the problem.

Some car wireless chargers are known to be unreliable because they are designed to accommodate smartphones of different sizes. The problem of aligning the position of the smartphone on the charging mat is common for car owners.

General Motors said it was “aware of the issue” and was “investigating it.”

Previously, all iPhone 15 models had internet access. It turned out to be Faster than iPhone 14.
