Oppo’s new affordable flagship, Reno 11 Pro, will not include the periscope lens for optical zoom found in last year’s Reno 10 Pro Plus. In this respect reports The Gizmochina publication cites Chinese insider Digital Chat Station (DCS).

According to DCS, Reno 11 Pro will have an OLED display with curved edges and 1.5K resolution. Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 will be responsible for performance. In comparison, the base Reno 11 model will be equipped with an OLED display with Full HD + resolution and a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor.

Both devices will retain the design language of the Reno 10 series, and the new products will be released in pink and beige colors with a frosted glass cover. There will also be green and silver models with textured backs. The camera block consists of two circles with three lenses. At least one camera on the Reno 11 and 11 Pro is a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 module with 2x optical zoom. Neither model will have a periscope lens for closer zoom.

The launch of Reno 11 and 11 Pro is expected to take place in China on November 23, 2023.
